Sailing and Pampus
Looking for a fun day out? Why not combine a day of sailing and a visit to Pampus! The origins of this monumental sea fort go back to the Dutch East India Company. The island was constructed artificially in 1887 as part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam, to protect the city from attacks from sea. You can choose for either a guided tour, or to discover the island and its history yourself through the interactive ‘Pampus Xperience’.
Pampus is closed on Mondays.
