Practical information

Do everything, do nothing, relax or work hard … whatever floats your boat

Help out

Live the trip to the fullest and sail with us. My ship mate and I make sure every trip on de Verwisseling is an unforgettable experience. Help us hoist the sails, naviagte, hold the rudder, tack and gybe. It’s not as difficult as it may seem; de Verwisseling is a deft and agile ship despite her impressive 22 meter length. You’ll be at the helm in no time!

Relax

Do you prefer a less intense trip? That’s no problem, take it easy. Chill out on the deck and enjoy the waves, wind and (hopefully) sun. It’s no secret that one day on the water feels like a week away.

What to bring?

If you’re going on a day-trip, don’t forget:

  • Warm clothes (also in summer!)
  • Rain gear and, perhaps, boots (against rain and sea spray)
  • Swimming gear
  • Well-gripped shoes
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen

If you’re spending the night, bring:

  • A sleeping bag or duvet (can be rented as well, for more information look here)
  • dishcloths and towel
