Multiple days of sailing
Sailing for multiple days gives the benefit of spending every night in a different harbour. The destination is dependent on your wishes, as well as the way the wind blows. You choose the pace, as well as the focus of the trip; be it sailing or visiting cultural places and doing fun activities.
Museums, canoeing or covering distance
How about a visit to the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen or to the replica of the Batavia in Lelystad? Renting canoes in Monnickendam? Or would you rather sail as much as possible, waking up early in the morning and getting as far as possible until late at night? Anything’s possible!
A longer trip
If you have a week (or more!) to spend on board, we can visit my favourite sailing area in the world: the Wadden Sea.
There’s loads of unique experiences to be found here. Lay on the sand at low tide and watch the seals flop around, or spend a day in Vlieland and go on a bicycle tour through the beautiful dunes and forests. What about a hike along the broad beaches of Schiermonnikoog, or having a cappucino on a terrace on Terschelling, with a view over the sea?
If the wind makes reaching the Wadden Sea difficult, we can go to the famous lakes of Friesland, sailing through narrow canals and visiting picturesque towns and villages.
